We found Molly!

Molly was MIA for the past 24 hours. PANIC!! Ella successfully went to sleep without her last night but I was worried about pushing my luck and trying to put her to sleep again without her best friend. I started the reward for finding her at $5. No luck. Within seconds of raising the booty to $10, Colton found her. Coincidence? I hope so. He swears he didn't hide her, and didn't even try to collect the reward, so I'm hoping it was just a coincidence that he found her so quickly. Life is good again in the Burke household.

So, what did we do today you ask? Well, we got ready early to take Jaxon to the commissary parking lot to meet with ward members who were going to the temple. This was Jaxon's first time going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. For all you non-Mormons, nope, we don't baptize dead people. We act as proxys for them. Its awesome and I am so excited that Jaxon got to go. I asked him to try to feel the Spirit and keep an open mind in the temple so he might be able to feel if the people he was baptized for accepted his work. He was baptized for 5 German men, all born in the 1800's, and one even shared his birthday. Jaxon said it was a great experience and felt that some of them were happy he was baptized for them. Jaxon is super blessed to have been in the temple before when we were sealed to his brother and sister, but now he is not just an observer, he gets to participate. Cool!
After dropping Jaxon off, we went to an indoor flea market and found some things that the kids swore they couldn't live without. I was looking for shoes for Mason, but no luck. After the flea market, we hit a German store and got Mason some shoes. Very exciting. Afterwards, we went thru a German car wash. The kids loved it. Here they are in the car while its getting washed.

And here's Mason with his new German shoes:

Ella wanted to get fleishwurst. That's some kind of German meat, not quite sure what it is, but it tastes good. We went to the German deli to buy some, and the nice man gave Ella a big piece and wouldn't accept any money for it. The Germans love their meat. He gave something like a cold hot dog to the boys but it was not well received. Here's Ella and her meat:

We went over to the little park by our house and played in the sand for a while. The kids got some new sand toys last week that have been a hit in the sand and in the bathtub.

Night y'all!
